We reinvented the balance board: the turtleboard® is a new kind of balance board, which offers a realistic movement sequence for the training of coordination and balance sports (e.g. snowboarding, skating, surfing, foil, SUP, slackline). The unique 3D veneer construction sets new standards.

With its special, patented shape and its light FLEX in combination with the special ball (included with every board), the turtleboard® enables a pleasant, soft floating sensation like freeriding and at the same time a multi-dimensional training in which the ball repeatedly "seeks" the center of the board due to the curvature.

In addition to the fun factor, the turtleboard® also trains balance and reaction, various muscle groups and the cardiovascular system:

  • strengthening of the entire leg, gluteal and core muscles
  • improves the coordination of the leg and foot muscles
  • stabilization of the lumbar-, thoracic- and cervical spine muscles
  • srengthens the muscular stability of the hip, knee and ankle joints
  • trains the sense of balance and thus prevents injuries
  • core muscles are fully used and trained

SPECIFICATION

The turtleboard® is pressed, trimmed, sanded with a worldwide unique, patented wood technology and gets an oiled surface or a satin finish with our "Shark-Skin" granulate for better grip depending on the design. In additionto the BASIC VENEER, we also offer boards with PREMIUM VENEER as the top layer.

On request, we can equip the boards with surf traction pads, which give you an even more authentic feeling when you're barefoot. Various materials (our sustainable cork pad system or EVA) and colors are available here.

WIZARD

Our ball WIZARD is "magical" in the truest sense of the word: a little bigger and softer than its predecessor, the freeride feeling with this ball under the turtleboard® becomes even more authentic.

The degree of hardness, material, surface structure and weight of the WIZARD ensure the perfect freeride experience when "turtling". OK, the feeling of being on your surf, snow or skateboard is not exactly the same - but it comes very close!

We have traveled a lot and were allowed to surf or snowboard in beautiful places - that makes us particularly aware of the responsible use of resources towards the environment. Sustainability in the manufacture of our boards is an essential part of our idea. Each board is unique and is manufactured with great attention to detail in Marlo's workshop in Bochum in the heart of the Ruhr area - where the heart still counts.
 
WOOD IS THE MOST ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY MATERIAL ON THIS PLANET. 

Our certified wood supplier gives us the opportunity to manufacture a unique and environmentally friendly product with his wood. Our processing by hand gives each board a personal touch and guarantees the best quality. With our ball, for which we have also focused on sustainability (100% natural rubber), you will have a feeling of gliding and floating, as you otherwise only know when freeriding from deep snow or from the water - we promise!
